Support Our Partners in the Redmond Community #GivingTuesday
Both giving and receiving are fundamental aspects of our social interactions and personal growth. They create a balanced flow of energy, fostering connections and relationships that are essential for our well-being.
Giving Tuesday Or Any Day!
Giving often involves offering time, resources, support, or love to others. It's an act of generosity and kindness that can create a positive impact on both the giver and the receiver.
Here's why giving is powerful:
Empathy and Compassion: Giving encourages us to step outside of ourselves and consider the needs and feelings of others. It fosters empathy and compassion, making us more connected and understanding.
Sense of Purpose: Acts of giving can provide a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Knowing that we have made a difference in someone else's life can be incredibly rewarding.
Improved Well-being: Research shows that giving can enhance our own mental and physical health. It releases endorphins, often referred to as the "helper's high," and can reduce stress and anxiety.
Building Relationships: Generosity can strengthen relationships and build trust. When we give, we demonstrate care and commitment, which can deepen our connections with others.

Jill Clacy at Kindering who serves Families in Transitions. Her team needs toddler sized diapers - because it is some of the most essential things that the families in need want help with. You can commit $55 for one month’s diaper supply for a toddler in need or donate as per your wishes.
In order to make sure the donation goes to the FIT team please add a note under “additional information” that says “Kiwanis Diaper Drive”. Our accounting group will be able to then track the funds specifically for FIT. Thank you for caring for those in need in our community!
