Kiwanis Hockey Night with the Seattle Thunderbirds is back again in 2024 on Sunday, March 24th at 5PM at the Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA.
The Seattle Thunderbirds will be playing the Portland Winterhawks.
You can book your seats for these THUNDERBIRD game at $30 each with each ticket returning $15 to Redmond Kiwanis Club to help our feeding programs here in the Redmond area. Parking and concessions will also be easier and cheaper, making this a great family outing and a GREAT HELP to those we serve.
Even if you are not able to attend the Kiwanis Hockey Night, you can still purchase a ticket and contribute to Redmond Kiwanis Club.
Seattle Thunderbirds: What We Know About Them
Last Season they finished 1st U.S. with 54 WINS – 11 Losses and 1 tie. They went on to win the ED CHYNOWETH CUP over Winnipeg Ice after beating Kelowna, Prince George and Kamloops in the tournament, beating Winnipeg 4-1. This was the 2nd time – 2017 –that they won this Championship and was Conference Champions for 4 seasons – 2015-16; 2016-17; 2021-22; and finally 2022-23.
This season they have a lot of new players but still the same coach, Matt O’Dette, as the previous season. It is this “new” team that currently struggles at 12 wins and 16 losses but their last game of the season – MARCH 24th – against a chief rival – PORTLAND -promises to be an exciting game – full of drama and rivalry.

Tickets can be purchased through our web site using your credit/debit card OR purchased through one of our members and pay by cash/check. Tickets will be purchased using a group process so the tickets must be ordered by March 11th.
Tickets will be distributed upon receipt of tickets from the Group Sales Coordinator.
